About the Family
This is a dual-career household where both parents work from home in separate offices and occasionally travel once or twice a month. This is a family-oriented household, and close relationships with extended family are a meaningful part of their daily life. Their extended family lives nearby and visits multiple times per week to spend quality time with them, often joining the baby for outdoor walks. The family values honoring their Jewish heritage and family tradition, as well as education, intellectual inquiry, light-hearted humor, and open-mindedness. They love reading, nerdy jokes, outdoor walks, and low-key family time. They also enjoy spending time together and traveling for a few weeks throughout the year, with parts of the summer often spent at their family beach house in Delaware, yearly visits to Orange County, CA, and NYC, as well as one international trip each year. The family is eager to work with an adaptable, travel-ready nanny who brings a calm, supportive presence and is excited to join them on some of these meaningful family adventures! A collaborative nanny who works well with others, including a housekeeper, a part-time house manager, and a chef, will be a wonderful addition.
